Saudi-Egyptian exchanges reached $797.5 million in 1999

The Egyptian consulate in Saudi Arabia, Moshen Baha Al-Dein Kamel, has recently estimated the value of Egyptian-Saudi exchanges in 1999 at $797.5 million, reported Al-Riyadh daily. Kamel added, that this figure is equivalent to Egypt’s collective trades with the entire Arab world. 

 

The consulate assessed that the number of projects launched in Egypt by Saudi capital totals 490, with approximately EP 14,252 million worth of capital invested. The total costs of these projects were assessed at EP 22,094 million. The Saudi share of capital invested in these joint projects is EP 4,188 million. –(Albawaba-MEBG)
