ALBAWABA - In recent news, the Russian Defense Ministry has reported that they've been targeting military sites and storage areas in Ukraine for the past week.

They've been using modern weapons and drones to carry out these attacks, hitting important places like aircraft engine factories, electronics facilities, and places where ammunition is made and kept.

The strikes didn't stop there. They also went after factories that supply fuel to the Ukrainian military, as well as storage areas for military gear and places where troops are stationed. These attacks caused significant damage, and the Russian military says they've achieved their goals.

On top of that, Russian air defense systems took down Ukrainian "Mig-29" planes and "Mi-24" helicopters during the same timeframe. Reports say that 35 Ukrainian soldiers gave up in the past week.

Since the conflict started, a lot of Ukrainian military stuff has been destroyed, including planes, helicopters, drones, air defense systems, tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, and special military vehicles.

These events show that tensions and fighting are still happening in the area, with both sides staying involved in the conflict.
