The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced its participation, as part of the federal government entities’ stand, in the 37th GITEX Technology Week 2017 taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center from 8th-12th October. MoF is participating to highlight its commitment in spreading knowledge about its smart e-services - designed to achieve high customer satisfaction, meet smart government goals, and review best global practices with regards to the digital transformation.

During GITEX Technology Week 2017, MoF will unveil a range of new e-services, as well as showcase its current digital services. HE Mariam Mohammad Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for the Management of Financial Resources at MoF stressed the importance of participating in GITEX Technology Week - a leading platform showcasing the digital transformation as well as the latest information security technologies. MoF also uses this opportunity to collect feedback from customers on its services, in order to enhance them, and in turn meet the government’s directives to provide services that will help achieve the happiness of customers.

HE Al Amiri added: “The Ministry of Finance achieved significant milestones with regards to the digital transformation of its services, and offers various customer communication channels such as the Ministry’s smart app ‘MoF mServices’, the e-Dirham system and the Emirates Fate for Government Finance Statistics. Last year, MoF attracted more than 500 visitors to its stand in GITEX, and achieved a 94% overall customers satisfaction rate with regards to its services. MoF also held awareness workshops on its most used and popular smart services, which attracted 92% of its customers.
