Samsung’s stylish Smart Air Conditioner keeps the Home Cool and Clean

Samsung Gulf Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today announced the launch of a new premium floor standing air conditioner , the Q9000 Smart Air Conditioner (AF28FVZ).

The stylish looking air conditioner comes in a compact and sleek design and offers an unorthodox way of cooling. On the performance front, Q9000 takes advantage of the jet engine aerodynamics design that creates three powerful whirlwind-like airflows cooling large rooms quickly and efficiently. The Q9000 also comes in with a built in dehumidifier, auto cleaning function and more importantly the Virus Doctor technology. 

“We wanted to create a modern looking AC that was beautiful to look at, slim and is able to cool rooms quickly and efficiently. The Q9000 Smart AC uses a totally new concept for cooling which uses whirling wind to make large spaces cooler quicker,” said Mr. Taesang Park, Director of Home Appliances Sales Group at Samsung Gulf Electronics. “We have acquired 16 patents when the final product was built, which is a testament to the AC’s innovative technology, stellar performance and beautiful design.”

Sleek and Stylish Design:

The Q9000 has a new concept design which is one of its kinds in floor standing air conditioners. The stylish upright silhouette ensures that minimal floor space is used and when in use an ice-blue colored light is emitted bathing the room in tranquil tones. The pure Crystal Gloss™ adds a premium finish and blends in perfectly with the surrounding décor.

Cooling:

The Q9000 offers three powerful, spiral airflows, created by a jet engine aerodynamics mechanism that cools the entire house quicker than a conventional AC. The three fans operate independently giving seven different airflow options to suit various activities; the fans can be operated independently or together so you can enjoy maximum cooling with minimum energy usage. Several modes including Reading Mode, Sleeping Mode and After-exercise Mode can be selected to automatically adjust the strength of airflow based on activities around the home.

Energy Saving:

The Smart Inverter Compressor adjusts its speed in response to the surrounding temperature. By running only at the speed needed, energy wastage is kept to a minimum and reduces energy consumption by up to 50 percent. If the surrounding temperature is higher than 23 degrees centigrade than only one fan is required, if higher than 30 degrees centigrade than the unit will operate with two fans and if higher than 33 degrees centigrade, all three fans will be operational to ensure optimum cooling.

Healthy Clean Air:

The internal Zero Filter in the Q9000 uses a magnet mechanism that electrifies dust specks to transform them into positive particles before capturing with the magnet’s force. The filter can be easily cleaned with water, is more effective than your average air purifier and includes a Virus Doctor that provides clean air by eliminating 99.99 percent of harmful micro organisms and dust particles. This feature has been awarded The British Allergy Foundation Seal of Approval and protects against the likes of pet hair and dust. The home is also

safeguarded from bacteria and mold caused by high humidity with the built-in dehumidifier.
