Ooredoo Appoints New Director of Strategy and Transformation

Ooredoo announced the appointment of Jaffar Al Khaboori as the new Director-Strategy and Transformation following a rigorous internal and external selection process. In his new role, the highly qualified Ooredoo veteran will work closely with the company’s CEO and other members of its senior management team to shape its strategic direction and implement company-wide business transformation initiatives.

Al Khaboori began his career with the company as a Controller & Management Accountant before rising to become Head of Planning, Pricing & Budgeting. Within two short years, he was promoted to Director of Planning, Insights & Performance. A graduate of the prestigious Strathclyde Business School and Sultan Qaboos University, his work ethic and professionalism led to his selection to participate in the landmark Ooredoo Business Leaders program, which helped sharpen his managerial and strategic qualities.
