Ooredoo and Paris Saint-Germain enrich the lives of 220 young footballers in Oman

Giving youth from across the Sultanate the chance to train with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Ooredoo teamed up with the legendary French club to host its annual football clinic in Muscat. With 220 of Oman’s top-notch aspiring footballers in attendance, expert trainers delivered four unforgettable training sessions to yonguth aged between 6-16 years of age. The youngsters were able to significantly develop their technical, tactical, physical and psychological skills while learning the Ligue 1 champion’s winning philosophy.

Paris Saint-Germain’s football clinic was held for the third consecutive year in partnership with Ooredoo. The clinic began with scouts searching for talent during a series of pre-selection events held at the Muscat Grand Mall. All young football fans were given a chance to showcase their skills to earn a place in the training session squad. Throughout the sessions, coaches from Paris Saint-Germain, who were halped by their local Omani counterparts, were on the lookout for the next generation of potential stars and delivered a fully immersive, authentic training experience over the course of two days.
Ooredoo has maintained a strong dedication to the youth of Oman, sponsoring numerous campaigns and working with some of the most recognised athletic teams and players to inspire the next generation. Its partnership with Paris Saint-Germain is one of many efforts, joining the company’s sponsorship of the popular Adiso Football league’s final round, and this year’s Al Sharqiya Challenge.
