Ooredoo’s Transformational Qadaa Programme Turns Team Members into Leaders
Effective leaders in the workplace are not born but made through hard work, as the saying goes. Therefore, Ooredoo launched the ‘Qadaa Leadership Excellence Programme 2.0’, the latest edition of its bespoke two-year leadership training programme, provides Ooredoo select team members with the skills to become effective leaders. Qadaa 2.0 is developed for both senior and aspiring leaders to teach them how to bring out the best in their team to get things done.
“Qadaa is a transformational leadership development programme that forms part of Ooredoo’s continuing drive to train and upskill team members. We initiated Qadaa to build and maintain a culture of sustained Ooredoo leadership across the organisation. We want our managers to use a specific leadership style to support their team in thriving, while solid management is based on consistency,” said Sulaiman Al Mughairi, Acting Chief People Officer at Ooredoo.
Qadaa 2.0 was launched during a signing ceremony with BBusiness, and the innovative course includes learning, practice and coaching throughout. The programme was initiated in 2016 to ensure all managers across all levels, are given the opportunity to perform and achieve optimally across the company.
