Oneworld voted best airline alliance in two separate travellers’ polls

oneworld® has been voted best airline alliance in separate polls conducted by two leading magazines for frequent international travellers.

It has been named Best Airline Alliance in Global Traveler magazine’s 2015 GT Tested Reader Survey – for the sixth year in a row.

Also today, oneworld has been honoured for the first time as Business Traveler North America’s Best Airline Alliance, in its 2015 Best in Business Travel Awards.

It means that oneworld now holds eight of the 12 available Best Airline Alliance honours in the various leading international award schemes.

oneworld is also the recipient of Global Traveler’s Best Alliance Wines on the Wing Award 2015, based on blind tastings of wines served in First and Business Class cabins around the world.  oneworld also holds the only other airline alliance award presented worldwide for the quality of member airlines’ in-flight wines, Business Traveller’s Cellars in the Sky award.

oneworld members also flew high in the individual airline categories of both the Global Traveler and Business Traveler North America award schemes.

In the Global Traveler GT Tested Awards:

In the Business Traveler North America’s 2015 Best in Business Travel Awards:

• Qatar Airways took three titles – as Best Airline in the World for International Travel, Airline with Best Business Class Service in the World, and Best Airline in the Middle East.
• British Airways was named Best Airline in Western Europe.
• Cathay Pacific took the title as Best Airline in Asia.
• LAN Airlines was honoured as Best Business Class to South/Latin America.

Global Traveler describes its GT Tested awards as “the Super Bowl of travel”.

Business Traveler North America’s Best in Business Travel Awards are selected based on a survey of its readers, who “are world-class experts in the business of business travel, (who) constantly stay on the look out for hottest spots, the coolest trends, the very best ways to make that travel experience more efficient, more productive and, of course, more pleasurable”.
