National Bank of Oman (NBO) has utilized its annual Ramadan community outreach programme, to share the spirit of giving across Oman and give back to the community by distributing 1,800 food hampers to families in need and people with disabilities. Partnering with Al Rahma Association, Association Of Early Intervention For Children With Disability and Nida Al Khair Charity Team, the bank has continued to raise awareness of the charitable organisations and provide support for the community.

As part of the initiative, over 150 Iftar boxes were given to families of children with rare diseases as part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs. Each hamper was personally delivered to the families by volunteers from NBO, strengthening the bank’s bond with the local community and providing much needed assistance, as well as peace of mind, during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
