NBO Partners With Muscat Eat Festival To Support the Local Business Community

Committed to empowering communities, National Bank of Oman (NBO) is the banking partner of this year’s Muscat Eat Festival 2022, which recently kicked-off at Madinat Al Irfan under the auspices of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. Through the support of the two-weekend culinary event, NBO seeks to encourage the local business community to reach their potential and generate some revenue by showcasing their culinary highlights. Meanwhile, many participating entrepreneurs, home-based business owners, as well as visitors have been able to meet with team members from NBO at its stand to find out more about the bank’s tailored products and services, and open an account.
The annual Muscat Eats Festival hosts around 150 stalls made up of homegrown restaurants, coffeeshops, local food trucks and home-based food businesses. This year, the event has been split into two weekends in December, while it usually attracts thousands of visitors who are spoilt for choice with a range of local and international cuisines, entertainment and activities for all ages.
Meanwhile, NBO has long been an active participant in local, community-centred initiatives that aim to support local businesses and therefore contribute to Oman’s economic growth and diversification. The bank will continue to seize opportunities and work together with key partners to unlock opportunities that drive progress, prosperity and create value for Oman and its people.
