NBO marks omani women’s day by celebrating their achievements and growth

National Bank of Oman (NBO) marked Omani Women’s Day by celebrating the impact female employees and entrepreneurs have had on the growth of the organization from the beginning of its journey. As part of a day of activities and in recognition of womens’ contribution to the nation, NBO held an exhibition inviting female-owned SMEs to showcase their products and services to the employees and customers. NBO also held an internal discussion panel featuring two female employees who shared the story of their professional growth with NBO.
In line with the role Omani women play in the renewed renaissance of The Sultanate, NBO has committed to the development of its female employees by identifying the right opportunities to unlock unexpected growth and appointing them in leadership positions, allowing them to play an active role in various areas. This insight and diverse selection of voices has helped shape NBO’s direction and been influential in developing products to meet the needs of all areas of society.
NBO’s long-standing commitment to the Sultanate’s female emplyees and entrepreneurs will continue through a number of initiatives such as organizing a series of exhibits held at its head office and work together to drive progress across Oman.
