NBO Hosts Government Competencies Programme for Promising Public Service Employees
National Bank of Oman (NBO) recently hosted the third batch of public service employees who participated in the Government Competencies Programme. The visit highlighted the bank’s compelling solutions, products and world-class customer service to showcase the bank’s innovative approach and its position as the “Bank of Choice.”
Hassan Shaban, General Manager - Chief Government Banking Officer at NBO, said: “We were pleased to share NBO’s strategy of customer service excellence and details of how we implement the various community initiatives with the future leaders taking part in this programme. Such events cement our position as public sector partners and the “Bank of Choice” for Governmental entities.” He added: “We want to thank the organizers for choosing NBO as the role model and benchmark for the banking sector, and look forward to hosting more events like these.”
Through the implementation of a number of training programs, the bank aims to develop the career prospects of young Omanis and further increase the number of employment options in the sector. NBO’s long-term partnership with the Government Competencies Programme has resulted in the development of a platform where knowledge and best practices are shared.
