MoF announces its participation in Careers UAE 2013

In line with its continuous efforts to attract more qualified UAE Nationals to work at the Ministry and following its commitment to support and develop strategies and Emiratisation plans in the UAE; the Ministry of Finance (MoF), in collaboration with the Federal Customs Authority and the Federal Credit Bureau, announced today its participation in the upcoming Careers UAE 2013 fair, which will be held between 30 April and 02 May at World Trade Center in Dubai. 

During its participation in the fair’s 13th year, MoF will provide its visitors with a comprehensive explanation on its human resources plans and programmes, such as the Massar Programme and the employee performance e- system “Adaee”. The Ministry will also be introducing its visitors to aspects of its professional work environment, which reflects MoF’s commitment to support the local community in general and specifically its youth. 

Commenting on MoF’s participation in the fair, HE Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Assistant Undersecretary of International Financial Relations Sector at MoF stressed on the Ministry’s commitment to participate in various local initiatives aiming to support young Emiratis throguh attracting qualified nationals who are able to support the Ministry’s outstanding work. 

HE said: “The employee performance e- system “Adaee” presented by the Ministry during its participation in the Career fair constitutes one of the most prominent strategic initiatives with regards to institutional development as well as an important effort to position the Ministry of Finance as the first career choice for qualified UAE citizens.” 

“Adaee” integrated a number of updates which included new mechanisms for action plans during the three phases of the system (planning, reviewing and evaluation), creating a database as well as finalising the options for assessments as defined by the Regulation and Moderation Committee by Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, along with a number of amendments that have highly contributed in a positive work environment at the Ministry. 

It is noteworthy to mention that all the departments at MoF seek to recruit qualified employees, whereby representatives of these departments will work on receiving resumes and t applications in order to proceed with the selection process of Emiratis to join the Ministry’s team.
