Modhesh World, one of the most popular indoor edutainment destinations in the region, has stepped up its efforts to offer an all-immersive entertainment arena by unveiling a ‘Handicraft’ section in the ‘Food Park DXB’ zone located in Hall 1 of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The section features pop up stores and kiosks selling a variety of unique products, from handmade cosmetics and jewellery to funky wall boards and custom-styled animal figurines for children. It also aims to provide micro-businesses and entrepreneurs an opportunity to reach out to visitors.

Its immense popularity of motivates us to look for new avenues where people of all ages can spend quality time as a family. The handicraft section in the Food Park DXB zone is the result of our commitment to constantly adapt and also give budding entrepreneurs of the country an opportunity to interact with potential customers.”

The diverse collection of kiosks at Modhesh World includes:

Say it with jewellery

‘Ajorca Jewels’ features an exquisite collection of unisex bracelets and rings made of charm stones, tiger eye stones and onyx stones amongst others. This pop up makes for a perfect gift for the loved one while the children are engrossed in the games and rides.

Facelift without side-effects

‘Saante’ exhibits a range of home-grown and natural chemical-free products handcrafted by a renowned Dubai-based beauty and aroma therapist. The health, skin-care and beauty products – ranging from face scrubs, hair tonics and pain relief oils amongst many others- are made from 100% essential oils that are extracted directly from the plants in a sustainable manner.

Honing the artist in children

‘Ingenious’  is an innovative pop up store aimed at creating a fun learning environment that helps children appreciate a piece of art crafted from their own efforts and imagination. The kiosk features animal figurines made of paper mache, ceramic pots and coffee mugs, and gives kids an opportunity to paint their chosen products at the spot with wash-proof colours.

Capture love in lockets

‘I Heart Lockets UAE’ offers a collection of glass and perfumed lockets at Modhesh World. The glass lockets allow people to treasure a personalised short message, name or symbol inserted into a glass encasing. Similarly, perfumed lockets are an innovative way of wearing one’s favourite fragrance by spraying it in small quantities onto a fabric that is held within the locket.

Liven up the home with pop art

‘The Rusty Saw’ is set up by a group of custom crafters and graphic designers who design funky wall boards, posters and installations to add a bit of funk to the home. Tongue-in-cheek typographic art is a popular offering of this homegrown brand that custom-makes its products, from palm sized boards to large installations, at a workshop in Dubai.
