Markazia Toyota Renews Haya Cultural Center Partnership Agreement for Traffic Park Programs

For the second year in a row, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, Markazia Toyota renewed its partnership agreement with Haya Cultural Center (HCC) in support of its traffic park programs for the current year. This step underscores Markazia Toyota’s keen interest to back various segments of society, as well as to help raise and inform current and future generations.
As per the agreement, Markazia Toyota offered its support for the traffic park programs that were launched by HCC in 2016 to raise awareness amongst children in different municipalities about traffic laws and road safety. The programs teach children about traffic lights, respecting pedestrians and keeping roads clean by allowing them to drive small cars and bikes suitable for their age within the confines of special parks, which feature roads, intersections, traffic lights and traffic signs, instilling in them safe driving ethics from a young age.
On this occasion, Nadim Haddad, Deputy General Manager of Markazia, said, “This partnership reflects our belief in the crucial role that Haya Cultural Center plays in developing children’s capabilities and skills by offering them a safe environment to explore their talents, expand their horizons and refine their personalities. Our sponsorship of the traffic park programs for the second consecutive year solidifies our social responsibility towards all members of the Jordanian community, especially children who hold the future of this country in their hands.”
In turn, General Manager of the Haya Cultural Center, Diala Khamra, commented, “We thank Markazia Toyota for their continuous support of the traffic park programs and their belief in the importance of spreading a culture of traffic safety among children in Jordan. Our programs aim to instill in children the importance of road and traffic signs and the correct way to behave on streets to ensure public safety. Markazia Toyota’s sponsorship has a significant effect on enabling us to reach as many children in Jordan as possible, to integrate them into traffic park programs and activities and, thus, promote in them a sense of citizenship and belonging.”
