LG Unveils World’s Highest Resolution Video Wall at the Dubai Mall

LG Electronics (LG) set another GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title today as it unveiled the world’s highest resolution video wall built from 820 panels of LG’s OLED signage at The Dubai Mall’s landmark attraction, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, one of the largest in the world. Emaar Entertainment, the entertainment business of Emaar Properties, partnered with LG on the record-breaking project.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo at The Dubai Mall had earlier secured a Guinness World Records title for the World’s Largest Acrylic Panel, and the inauguration of the highest resolution video wall will now mark its second such achievement.

The record-breaking video wall features 820 panels of LG’s OLED signage. With OLED, the next-generation display, screens can emit light without the need of backlighting for superb images with the deepest possible blacks that reveal life-like colours, while providing wider viewing angles than conventional backlit displays. Furthermore, the curvature of each screen in combination with others can create a variety of designs to transform any ordinary space into a digitally enhanced potential landmark.

Not only is this screen visually and aesthetically stunning to look at, it also provides a range of opportunities for Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, as well as a host of other companies to showcase their creativity and ingenuity. Companies and brands can develop highly engaging content to display on the Guinness World Records breaking LG OLED screen that will captivate residents and tourists providing them with unique experiences that they can share with their family and friends.
