Lexus Hybrid owners: thanks a million!

Lexus announced it has sold over 1 million hybrid vehicles since the world's first luxury hybrid vehicle, the RX 400h, went on sale in April 2005. This major milestone has been achieved by Lexus’ firm commitment to hybrid technology with more than a decade of development experience and a wide range of hybrid models.
The sales and marketing director and Deputy General Manager at Al-Markazia Nadim Haddad said, “The hybrid drive system continues to be our core vehicle technology to help reduce CO2 emissions, while providing a pleasurable driving experience. We have set ambitious environmental goals for 2050, and hybrid popularity worldwide is extremely important if we are to achieve those goals.” Haddad stressed Al-Markazia’s dedication to involve the Jordanian consumer in this achievement, after experiencing the importance of 'Hybrid' technology through Lexus models.
After the debut of the RX 400h, the brand gradually expanded its hybrid line-up by launching the first luxury hybrid sedan, the GS 450h, in 2006, followed by many other popular models like the powerful luxury hybrid sedan, LS 600h, and the luxury hybrid compact, CT 200h. The latest RX 450h model is also representative of Lexus’ excellence for hybrid performance. The model has redesigned powertrains, sophisticated safety technologies, driver aids as well as new convenience and technology features, while standing out with its sharp lines and contemporary styling to create a futuristic new look.
Earlier this year, Lexus premiered its latest hybrid model, the LC 500h, which features a new generation performance hybrid technology called Multi Stage Hybrid System (MSHS). The MSHS expands further hybrid advantages by delivering more power, greater acceleration, traction and higher efficiency.
