KPMG Bahrain facilitated learning sessions for students focused on cyber security

Our Advisory team visited a number of schools in Bahrain during the past month to raise awareness of the importance of cyber security and staying safe online.

The sessions were held under the theme Cyber Smart 2022 and it comes as part of KPMG’s Global Cyber Day, an annual initiative aimed at educating young people on how to deal with internet risks. The sessions provided the students with tactics on how to stay cyber smart and protect personal data on social media and online gaming. The school students also benefited from discussing online identity protection and cyber bullying.

Our Global Cyber Day takes place during the month of October and coincides with International Cyber Security Awareness Month, an internationally recognized campaign that promotes cyber security among organizations and the public and providing resources to be more secure online.
