This year, over 70 interns were enrolled into the internship program, and 23% of the interns were offered full time positions with the firm on completion of their internship. On an average, the program accommodates approximately 80 interns on an annual basis, with the key objective of supporting and nurturing young Bahraini students by training them on-the-job and providing them with real work experience to help them build the foundation of their careers.
The Hussain Kasim Professional Internship Program is named in honor of the co-founder of KPMG in Bahrain - Hussain Kasim. Prior to the partnership, Hussain Kasim was a well-respected teacher in the community, and he is still passionate and committed towards supporting young Bahraini professionals.
