Jotun receives certificate of appreciation from Dubai Central Laboratory at annual ‘Customer Gathering’ Event

Jotun Paints, one of the world’s leading producers and distributors of paints and powder coatings, received a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ from Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) of Dubai Municipality. The certificate was given during ‘Customer Gathering 2013,’ an annual event attended by Dubai Central Laboratory’s key stakeholders, partners and customers, which was held at Atlantis Hotel, The Palm in Dubai. Jotun also participated as the event’s sole sponsor. 

The certificate of appreciation was presented by Engineer Hawa Abdullah Bastaki, Director, DCL to Vishaal Kodikal, Marketing Manager, Jotun Paints in the presence of VIPs and senior government officials present at the event. ‘Customer Gathering 2013’ was aimed at discussing key trends, issues and views across today’s laboratory-based facilities. The event also served as a strategic platform to discuss the roadmap to development that Dubai Central Laboratory will be undertaking in the next few years. Dubai Central Laboratory was established in 1997 with the aim of centralizing all the labs within Dubai Municipality under one department. It is the first Department within Dubai Municipality to be awarded the ISO 9001: 2000 certification and has also recently achieved DAC certification to ISO IEC Guide 65.
