In line with its continuing commitment towards helping save the environment, Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the GCC, successfully participated in a beach and coastal cleanup activity organized by DP World, one of the largest marine terminal operators in the world.

The activity, which was held earlier at the Emirates Marine Environmental Group Headquarters, was organized as part of the celebrations for this year’s Gulf Environment Week. For the event, Imdaad had donated one 20-cubic meter trash bin and garbage bags to help in the proper disposal of the collected trash and waste from the cleanup. In addition, several members of Imdaad’s environment team took part in the event. Aside from improving the UAE’s coastlines, DP World’s beach and coastal cleanup activity is also aimed at increasing awareness on the impact of marine debris to the environment while also encouraging residents to play their part in keeping beaches and coast areas clean and free of waste. More than 300 participants joined in the activity, which yielded over four tons of waste that was properly disposed by Imdaad.
