National Bank of Oman (NBO) has made banking easier than ever with its cardless cash service.

Continuing to pioneer digital innovation in the Sultanate, National Bank of Oman (NBO) has made banking easier than ever with its cardless cash service. Customers can now withdraw funds from any NBO ATM, conveniently located across the Sultanate, using only their mobile phones, by simply logging into the NBO mobile app and going to the cardless cash feature. They will then enter the required amount and the One Time Number Passcode which will be sent via SMS into the ATM screen. This is just one of the many ways that NBO is supporting the Sultanate’s digital transformation and meeting the evolving needs of its customers.

“As part of our leading position in the market, we are constantly building on our portfolio of digital and customer-friendly solutions. Cardless Withdrawals on ATMs join a long list of mobile payment options that have already taken the banking industry by storm, catering to the growing demand for smartphone technologies and digital services. Integrating cash withdrawals into the cardless-payment ecosystem is a logical next step and because it’s safe and convenient, it comes in particularly handy when you’ve left your card at home,” said Abdul Karim Al Hinai, Chief Transformation Officer at NBO.

Keen to adopt the latest technologies and stay ahead of the curve, NBO is constantly enhancing its digital channels to enable customers to manage their money in a way that is tailored to their specific and changing needs. Its easy-to-use digital banking services – online banking and the mobile app - are available around the clock, facilitating a range of everyday tasks to be completed, including opening accounts, paying utility and credit card bills, increasing/decreasing debit card limit, changing debit card PIN, locating branches and ATMs, applying for products such as the Easy Payment Plan (EPP), and making local and international money transfers.
