Epson has announced that it will launch its new Interactive Meeting Room projectors, offering a complete digital projection solution for business meetings, during its participation at the 2012 GITEX Technology Week Dubai, being held from October 14 to 18, 2012, at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. A key participant at GITEX for more than 15 years, Epson will be exhibiting at stand E4-20, hall 4, where the company will also be showcasing its range of business solutions.

The EB-1410Wi and EB-1400Wi combine the benefits of projectors, interactive whiteboards, flipcharts and other presentation equipment in one easy-to-use device. The projectors offer advanced features including a 100-inch interactive screen that can be projected onto any surface using a variety of input sources such as computers, office networks, USB memory sticks, visualisers and other smart devices.

The EB-1410Wi and EB-1400Wi also come with interactive pens that allow users to annotate projected images and there is also a multi-location function, which allows up to four separate projection systems to be connected remotely, allowing users to share images and presentations, and annotate the same image remotely.

Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said: “The new Interactive Meeting Room Projectors deliver optimal value for businesses with their ability to increase productivity and significantly reduce installation costs by eliminating the need for multiple pieces of meeting room equipment. It is another important technology breakthrough for Epson and GITEX Technology Week serves as an excellent venue to present this solution to our customers”.

Epson further revealed that it will be displaying its range of Retail & Hospitality, Label & Ticketing and Banking & Finance technology solutions at GITEX 2012. Other Epson product lines to be presented include WorkForce Pro printers, with 50 per cent lower running costs compared to competitive laser printers and two new large format printers from a new range of SureColor graphics printers aimed at the CAD, GIS and Signage markets. Other key product lines include lasers, scanners, and a wide range of projectors for education and business, in addition to the home cinema range and the new 10,000 ANSI lumens projector.

Epson will also be launching a new range of A3 and A4 document scanners which come in network-ready models and have been designed to improve efficiency and integrate seamlessly into document management and cloud systems. At the stand, Epson will be demonstrating the WorkForce DS-6500 and WorkForce DS-70000 flatbed scanners with scan speeds of up to 70 pages per minute.

GITEX is the leading international IT trade event for enterprise and SMBs in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia and provides visitors with the opportunity to explore an innovative range of business solutions and pioneering technologies. This year’s show will allow business leaders and technology executives to experience Epson’s broad range of cutting-edge printers, projectors and other products for key sectors.
