Experience the art of music at Dubai Marina Music Festival from sundown on December 14 to December 23, in the heart of Dubai Marina.

The hugely popular Dubai Marina Music Festival is returning this year with a whole new twist! In a new format designed to engage your senses and take you on an interactive journey of musical and self-discovery, the festival will offer the opportunity to hear, feel, see and touch music, in a unique and truly mesmerising way.

Inspired by Plato’s quote, “music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything”, this year’s theme is titled ‘The Art of Sound’ and looks at exploring the varying methods for experiencing music.

There are a series of activations too that is sure to delight all. Explore the Sound Splash, where you can visualise the frequencies of sound through vivid colours and create an exciting musical splash. Sound Touch gives the opportunity to walk through a life-size string instrument; visitors can give it a quick strum to discover an array of melodic tunes.

Sound Art makes exercise fun as participants can pedal away on a cycle to compose tunes and art pieces at the same time, while Sound Play takes percussion and drumming to the next level as participants watch every beat they take transform into a visual symphony of colours.

Audio Shield takes visitors to the realm of virtual reality, where they can use their shield to block incoming orbs and generate music. Also explore the Laser Harp that creates serene sounds of a harp through an immersive installation, and an Interactive Music Wall that comes to life with every tap.

In addition with F&B vendors and a pop-up markette spread across the Dubai Marina Promenade, Dubai Marina Music Festival will tantalise all of your senses, no matter if you’re a music, food, shopping or art fanatic.
