Dubai eGovernment gifts HH Sheikh Mohammed’s latest book ‘Flashes of Inspiration’ to its employees

Keen to spread the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to all its employees; Dubai eGovernment has gifted to its employees the latest book of HH Sheikh Mohammed entitled ‘Wamdat Min Fikr – Flashes of Inspiration’.

H.E. Ahmed Bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai eGovernment, said: “Flashes of Inspiration by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is an embodiment of his visions as it contains a summary of his experiences and convictions as well as his conceptions of the future of our beloved country. We at Dubai eGovernment are keen on briefing our employees on the prudent leadership’s vision for upgrading government services. The book is a roadmap that can be used to develop their abilities and enhance their experiences with the aim of keeping pace with HH Sheikh Mohammed’s aspirations for enhancing the position of our country worldwide.” 

Bin Humaidan added: “The book contains inspiration on diverse topics in management, leadership and excellence in providing government services to customers and upgrading government performance in general, making it a comprehensive reference for those working in all areas of government work. It includes ideas to ease the lives of people through smartphones 24x 7 service, 365 days a year.” 

Bin Humaidan quoted HH Sheikh Mohammed from the book who asked: “If work is possible around the clock in the private sector, why not in the public sector? We want to be as efficient as the airlines and be awake always. Our citizens should be able to complete government transactions through any of the government service centres, irrespective of the entity they belong to. Even further, we want to shift the government service provision centres onto our customers’ smartphones so that they can track their services around the clock. 

Bin Humaidan reiterated that the responsibilities at Dubai eGovernment have a prominent place for carrying these ideas into effect, saying: “We are confident that our employees will have a strong motive towards more creative work after reading the book and being inspired by HH Sheikh Mohammed’s ideas.” 

Dubai eGovernment’s employees expressed their happiness at receiving the book and getting an inside peek into the mind of HH Sheikh Mohammed as well as being inspired to learn the secrets of success. The 144 page luxury edition of the book, published by Dar Kuttab Publishing & Distributing, is already being regarded as an intellectual reference for upgrading government work.
