Dubai Chamber to conduct training workshops on Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Performance Model
In order to ensure a high quality award application submission to the prestigious 7th cycle of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award 2013, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is conducting an intensive series of two day workshops on the following dates: 19–20 and 26–27 March, and 22–23 April, 2013.
By attending one of the three training workshops attendees will be entitled to a complementary, full-day training with Mr. Paul Steel, an international expert in Business Excellence with past experience in world excellence models. He is the President of Total Quality Inc (TQI) and the Senior Examiner member of the Baldrige Board of Examiners.
Mr. Steel has conducted over 800 Business Excellence seminars, workshops and training sessions in over 20 countries. He will share his experience giving clear examples of how to achieve high business performance.
The workshops which follow the successful series of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Best Practices Seminars 2013 will go a long way in supporting and preparing organisations wanting to participate in the prestigious Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award 2013.
Open to participants from a cross-section of private sector organisations, the workshops aim to provide an in-depth conceptual and practical learning about the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Performance Model framework, its applicability and significance for business performance and excellence. Over the years, the training workshops have evolved to cater to new business needs and to renovate excellence while catching up with the best in class business practices.
This year’s training workshops which aim to provide a more practical insight will be conducted by Dubai Chamber Business Performance Model experts as well as by highly trained and experienced award assessors and are based on the following components: An introduction to the model framework and a thorough analysis of the underlying areas and approach and a practical guide on the award’s assessment, supported by facts, documents, strategies and processes in the workplace, market place, community and environment.
Attendees will be able to reflect on their current practices versus the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum best-practices and learn how to successfully prepare the application for the 2013 Business Award.
The Model helps business in all sectors - type, and size - raise their competitiveness and motivate their staff to perform with distinction and serves as an incentive for continued success and development.
