DHL Express welcomes new General Manager to its regional distribution hub in Bahrain

DHL Express, the world’s leading logistics provider, recently appointed Gary Owen as the new General Manager for its Middle East and Africa distribution hub, headquartered in Bahrain. Boasting over 26 years of experience in the logistics industry, more than half of which have been spent with DHL, Gary brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and is a valuable addition to the DHL team.
Dynamic, focused with a strategic approach to business, Gary started working with DHL in 2002; since then, he has held various Technical and Operational posts within the company, at senior management capacity, in different countries throughout Europe and the Middle East. As General Manager of DHL’s Middle East and Africa distribution hub, Gary is responsible for supervising the hub’s operations and maintaining a timely, efficient superior service for its customer base.

Gary is a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and the Chartered Institute for Professional Development.
