DED hosts special ceremony to honour workers

As per the directive of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to use the seventh anniversary of his accession to say a big ‘thank you’ to the emirate’s workers for their selfless service, the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Dubai recently hosted a special ceremony to express its gratitude to all office boys, messengers and cleaners.

Ali Ibrahim, DED Deputy Director General for Planning and Development Affairs, Khalid Al Kassim, DED Deputy Director General for Executive Affairs, and CEOs presented gifts to the workers, and a special holiday was also granted in honour of their services. Later, the DED employees also joined the workers for lunch at the Business Village.
