Capital club hosts ladies GM luncheon In support of fellowship, empowerment & social awareness

Capital Club Bahrain, the Kingdom's premier private business club and member of the ENSHAA group of companies, hosted its second Ladies Only Luncheon, hosted by General Manager, Shahnaz Pakravan.

With a different guest list at each luncheon, the event was attended by over 20 influential businesswomen - Members of the Club and the greater community; some of whom included Mona Almoayyed, Mariam Janahi, Uzma Tapal Dadabhai, Amal Almoayyed, Iro Smith, Narees Qamber, Marjan Modara, Wiebke Buelow, Claire Pollard, Anoeska Drent, Sebahat Isik, Maxine Mac, Dina Haikel, Wendy Vaandrager and Christiana Sereda.

One of the main goals of this bi-monthly gathering is to find holistic ways to connect with the community, supporting business endeavors and charitable causes.

This particular event brought together a unique opportunity for philanthropist Mona Almoayyed and local artist Uzma Dadbhai, who brought together the idea of a live auction event to raise funds for a local charity during Ramadan, at the Club.

Says Pakravan, “this gathering is an essential platform for like-minded women and influencers to come together and discuss important issues that affect the wider society, as well as to brainstorm new ways where the Club can help give women the necessary outlet to grow, network, and showcase their own skills and ideas.”
