Burgan Bank recently took part in the graduation ceremony for the second and third batch of participants in the “Partners to Hire” program, which seeks to train individuals with disabilities in the field of customer service.

Burgan Bank recently took part in the graduation ceremony for the second and third batch of participants in the “Partners to Hire” program, which seeks to train individuals with disabilities in the field of customer service. The ceremony took place under the auspice and in the presence of the Minister of Health, His Excellency Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, who honored all organizations supporting people with disabilities. The ceremony witness also the attendance and participation of leading figures and various prominent entities. Burgan Bank took part in the career forum, which was organized by the Public Authority for Disability Affairs aimed to connect trainees with potential employers to support the integration of nationals with disabilities within the banking sector.

Burgan Bank Human Resources & development team took part in the career forum, selecting a number of program participants to join the Bank’s ranks. This comes in line with Burgan Bank’s ongoing commitment to inclusion by actively supporting people with disabilities in Kuwait to join the Banking sector.

On the occasion, Ms. Halah El Sherbini, Group Chief Human Resources and Development Officer at Burgan Bank, said: “We are extremely proud to take part in this forum as part of Burgan Bank’s strategy to support people with disabilities and help them develop their skills and professional capabilities. At the forum, we met with some truly inspiring individuals and impressive young talents, who are being driven by the will to overcome their challenges and turn their disabilities into a tool for success. We are delighted to have recruited several talents from “Partners to Hire” program to join our Burgan Bank family and will make all efforts to ensure their integration into our workforce.”

Ms. El Sherbini added: “Our participation in the forum stems from our commitment to help empower people with disabilities in Kuwait, especially on the professional level and particularly within the banking sector. This is a core part of our social responsibility efforts and is fully in line with our sustainability goals for achieving inclusion and diversity within our team.”
