Burgan Bank recently concluded its participation as a diamond sponsor in the Career Fair organized by the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), which was held over three days.

The Bank’s participation underscores its commitment to actively support the educational sector and Kuwait’s youth population, while driving growth and development in the economy at large.

GUST’s career fair witnessed a noticeable turnout from the visitors, while representatives of Burgan Bank’s Human Resources Department were present to answer all the questions and inquiries of students looking for job opportunities in the banking sector. In addition, the Human Resources team participated in the fair by interviewing aspiring young individuals to provide them with suitable job opportunities.

Speaking about the Bank’s participation in the fair, Mr. Abdulwahab Abdulraheem, Acting Unit Head – Talent Acquisition, Human Resources and Development, Burgan Bank, said: “Career fairs are excellent platforms for selecting and acquiring high-caliber young talents in the banking sector. That is why we continue to take part in career fairs of this kind, as we strive to provide the youth with practical career support and help equip them with the tools necessary to enhance their skillsets and expand their knowledge base. Burgan Bank's participation also reflects the Bank’s commitment to its role as a leader in the field of human capital development in Kuwait.”

He added: “We remain committed to attracting talented graduates to the banking sector, which plays a vital role in the financial system, especially the overall domestic economy. The Burgan Bank Academy and our Ro2ya program set us apart from other banks and provide the foundation for fostering the next generation of experienced bankers, who will be able to keep up with the rapid pace of change in the banking sector among other sectors.”
