Burgan Bank Sponsors the 9th eGovernment Forum (EGOV9)

Burgan Bank announced its sponsorship of the 9th eGovernment Forum (EGOV9), in collaboration with event organizer NoufEXPO for Exhibitions and Conferencing. The event is set to take place with the participation of various government agencies, as well as many private sector companies, and numerous other institutions involved in the development of Kuwait’s e-government project.
The forum, taking place under the slogan “The eGovernment is the Cornerstone of Comprehensive Development Renaissance”, is set to be held over the course of three days between October 23 and October 25, 2022. The largescale symposium seeks to trigger an all-encompassing evolution in Kuwait, which focuses first and foremost on technology - especially in the area of e-government programs.
Commenting on the forum’s sponsorship, Mr. Mohammad Mansour Al Mael - Head of Corporate Banking - AGM - Corporate Banking Group at Burgan Bank, said: “Through this sponsorship, we aim to do our part in supporting the State’s efforts in developing the e-government project, which is at the heart of many national development paths, especially those which serve the corporate sector. This is especially important given that the e-government grants remarkable facilities to leaders, economists, and business owners – be they large corporate entities or small, fledgling businesses. These facilities enable businesses and business leaders to pursue new horizons of commercial work, sparing them a lot of time and effort and ultimately enabling them to make bigger contributions to Kuwait’s economic growth.”
On his part, Mr. Taher Abdul Aal –Conferences and Exhibitions Manager at NoufEXPO for Exhibitions and Conferences, noted that the company focused, during its preparation of the forum, on creating the space for the different participating individuals, official agencies, and concerned companies to discuss suggestions and share views on the future of development and the ways for reinforcing the digitization path and the development of the e-government project. During the forum, sponsors will also have their own allocated spaces for hosting guests and showcasing their biggest projects and initiatives that are in line with the forum’s scope.
Burgan Bank continues to support key government events and initiatives, as the Bank seeks to play an active role in the comprehensive national development plan. The Bank is also maintaining its commitment to executing its overarching digitization and technological development plan, which aligns with Kuwait’s leadership vision for a technology-led development renaissance. Burgan Bank also seeks to implement its comprehensive plan through offering more technological solutions and digitizing its services; all in hopes of pushing the banking sector and local economy forward, and developing the core digital infrastructure in Kuwait.
