Burgan Bank hosts awareness day on breast cancer for its female employees in collaboration with Taiba Clinic

Burgan Bank recently held a breast cancer awareness day for its female employees as well as Kuwait Project Company’s (KIPCO) female employees in collaboration with Taiba Clinic. The bank set up a booth at its head office, which aimed at allowing the attendees to benefit from free checkups.
The bank also provided educational leaflets that contained the most updated information on breast cancer from the World Health Organization to female employees, as well as consultations on their general health in an effort to raise more awareness on various health issues.
Breast Cancer is a wide spread disease that is considered to have high death rates amongst women worldwide, although it can be treated and cured if detected at an early stage. The breast cancer early detection awareness initiative is part of the continued development of the Burgan Bank’s successful contributions to raise awareness on the disease, and to encourage women to conduct preventive checkups.
