BisB Team “Jood” Distribute Packages to Drivers

In line with the Holy Month of Ramadan, more than forty employees from Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) “Team Jood” recently volunteered their time taking part in the Bank’s annual campaign entitled “Iftar on the Road” offering fasting drivers caught in the pre-Iftar rush a packaged box containing essential traditional snacks, enabling them to break their fast. The campaign took place on Friday the 17th of May just before the Sunset Prayer Time, wherein more than 1400 meals were distributed across four key traffic junctions of the island, namely Sanad, Muharraq, Manama and Riffa.
Founded in March 2019, “Jood”s team of volunteers is comprised of a group of employees from BisB, which includes various social and community iniatives within the scope of the Bank’s CSR platform.
