Biolab participates in the 6th International Congress of the Jordanian Society for Fertility and Genetics

Biolab, the leading accredited diagnostic laboratories in the Kingdom, has participated in the 3-day 6^th International Congress of the Jordanian Society for Fertility and Genetics (JSFG) that was held at Le Royal Hotel in Amman under the Patronage of HRH Princess Rahma bint Al-Hassan. The congress addressed various topics related to infertility treatment, reproduction and recent developments in embryology and genetics.

The Biolab has presented its array of medical tests that are related to fertility and genetics, namely the Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing from the mother’s blood at week 10 (NIPT), Y-Chromosome Microdeletions, Anti Mullerian Hormone ( Ovarian Reserve ), HPV genotyping, Karyotyping and FISH, Prenatal Genetic testing and the Recurrent Miscarriage panel.

A group of fertility and genetics’ scientists and professors participated in the congress from 11 different countries including USA, Belgium, UK, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Greece, Serbia, Jordan and Lebanon. Moreover, a total of 600 experts participated in the congress from the Kingdom and the Arab countries.

Dr. Amid Abdelnour, CEO of Biolab, the JSFG Board Member and the appointed Financial Manager said: “Biolab has participated in the 6^th International Congress of the Jordanian Society for Fertility and Genetics to highlight the importance of fertility related medical tests that brings hope to married couples who are having reproduction difficulties as well as early detection of genetic fetus diseases.”
