Bayut to organize cricket league for Dubai realtors

Following the heartening response and success of its football league that saw 14 of Dubai’s leading realty agencies fight it out for the title, UAE property web portal Bayut.com will now be organizing a cricket tournament in May.

The event with 16 teams will be held over two days, May 12 and May 19, at InSportz, Al Qouz, Dubai. The participating teams have been divided into four groups of four teams each, and the group matches of the tournament will be played on Thursday, May 12, while the quarter finals, semi-finals and the final match will be played out on May 19.

The real estate agencies taking part in the tournament are Bayut, Engel & Volkers, Golden Wave, SPF, Terra Casa, AIM, Rivercity, St Claire, Atomic, Aston Pearl, Splendour Homes, Moon City, Pleasant Real Estate, Aeon & Trisl, Driven and Taktical.

Bayut CEO Haider Ali Khan said such sporting events provided real estate brokers with a much needed break from hectic work routines. “The football league was a success in the sense that it provided a great networking platform for brokers. The feedback we received encouraged us to plan more such events. Hopefully, the cricket league will be bigger success.”
