Tamkeen backs enterprises in Bahrain Boat Show 2013
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance and develop private sector enterprises in Bahrain, Tamkeen is once again come on board to support the exhibitors of Bahrain Boat Show International (BBSI) through the “Tarweej” Scheme, one of the schemes under Tamkeen’s flagship Enterprise Development Support Programme.
In 2011, Tamkeen supported 30 exhibitors through the scheme, which enables enterprises to participate in local and international exhibitions and trade fairs. Following the outpour of interest in the previous event held in 2011, this year’s support is expected to double to reach up 60 exhibitors in all.
“Given the remarkable success of the previous shows, we decided to provide an opportunity for even more exhibitors to participate in the Bahrain Boat Show 2013. The prestigious event offers enterprises in the marine sector a great platform to showcase their products and services, find out about the latest technologies and developments, and build relationships with new customers and other companies from the region and beyond,” said Tamkeen’s Private Sector Senior Manager Mohammed Bucheery.
Enterprises interested in exhibiting in the event may visit Tamkeen’s Enterprise Development Support Agency at Meral Building located in Seef area, or call the toll-free number (80008001), or email (edsa@tamkeen.bh).
Wael Juju, CEO and Organiser of Bahrain Boat Show said, “I am immensely proud of the success of BBSI. Each year, the show has become larger with more exhibiting brands, greater entertainment for our visitors, and has resulted in more exposure for our participants in particular and Bahrain in general. The Bahrain Boat Show International has become an event that showcases the brands, participants, and our island on a global level. I cannot express my gratitude and honour to have received this level of support and cooperation from Tamkeen.”
The Bahrain Boat Show International 2013 will take place at Amwaj Marina on 28th, 29th and 30th of March 2013 from 3 pm to 10 pm every day. Tickets will be available shortly.
