Azizi Developments Strengthens Dubai South Largest Waterfront Project with Doka Partnership

Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has reached a significant milestone at Azizi Venice, its transformative mixed-use community in the rapidly growing Dubai South, set entirely on a swimmable crystal blue body of water, following the successful completion of a major structural phase delivered in partnership with global formwork and scaffolding supplier, Doka.

Situated adjacent to Al Maktoum International Airport, Azizi Venice is set to reshape southern Dubai with 30,000 residential units, an expansive crystal lagoon, a high-end retail boulevard, and an AED 2.5 billion opera house. The project’s mid-rise towers, ranging from 10 to 22 stories, required a delivery approach built for speed, scale, and simultaneous progress across multiple buildings.

Azizi selected Doka for its ability to rapidly organize and maintain consistent build cycles across the masterplan’s many structures. Doka’s systems allowed the vertical cores of the towers to progress ahead of other phases, reducing typical floor-to-floor timelines to approximately six days. A phased, just-in-time delivery model kept materials flowing across the vast site without congestion.

Azizi Venice forms a central part of the developer’s broader pipeline of approximately 150,000 units under construction, projected for delivery by 2027 and worth several billion US dollars. The project is instrumental in delivering much-needed residential supply to Dubai’s fast-growing southern corridor.
