ADIB shares its customer service expertise with Federal Electricity and Water Authority

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), which was recently named the UAE’s best bank for customer service, welcomed a delegation last week from the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) that examined the bank’s measures to implement international best-practice in customer service. 

During the visit to ADIB’s Jumeirah branch, the FEWA delegation studied ADIB’s experience in customer service and the application of international best-practice and technology to provide customers with the highest levels of convenience. 

ADIB management and the FEWA delegation also discussed the use of a “mystery shopper” programme to assess levels of service and customer satisfaction, as well as the importance of developing and modernising services and delivery channels. 

Tirad Al-Mahmoud, ADIB’s CEO said: “We believe that achieving customer satisfaction is the most important success factor for all organisations. ADIB is striving to continually improve and provide customers with the highest levels of excellence, and our leading position in this area allows us to convey our expertise and knowledge to public and private sector organisations. ADIB was named the “UAE’s Best Bank in Customer Service” for the third consecutive year at the 2013 Bank Benchmark Index Awards organised by Ethos Consultancy. The bank also recently received the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award (MRM) in the financial services category, and Best Islamic Financial Institution in the UAE for 2013 from Global Finance Magazine for the fourth consecutive year.
