Abu Dhabi Ports’ employees lend a helping hand and give back to the community
Abu Dhabi Ports, the master developer, operator and manager of ports and industrial zones in Abu Dhabi, is holding a three-day campaign to collect donations for those less fortunate across the world. The ‘Together, Lending a Helping Hand’ campaign saw employees raise over 1500 Kg of goods in the second day of the campaign, ranging from clothing and toys to school supplies and other items, to be distributed during Ramadan and Eid
Taking place from 30 June to 2 July, the campaign is being held in partnership with the UAE Red Crescent as part of its Hefz Al Nema, or “Saving Grace”, charity project. The campaign, which will see all donations distributed to those in need, looks to both remind people of the importance of helping others and restore hope to those underprivileged.
The UAE Red Crescent “Saving Grace” project has been ongoing since 2004, and introduced clothing donations since 2012.
