ALBAWABA - Right after the TikTok ban craze in the US, Elon Musk's social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) recently went viral after introducing a new feature allowing users to view videos in reel format. This allows the platform to compete with similar applications like Zuckerberg's Instagram and Facebook.

While TikTok has already started making a comeback in the US after Trump took office, X joining the bandwagon will introduce this specific video format to a different target audience. According to its official account on the social media platform, X is only rolling out this feature for users residing in the US.

The UI is similar to competitors like TikTok and Instagram but likes, comments, shares, reposts, and more are placed below instead of on the right section, following X's black accents.

The admin rolled out the update for US users using a popular meme format and wrote, "You better not be making a dedicated video tab when I get home me:"

Just before its reveal, X's admin wrote, "An immersive new home for videos is rolling out to users in the US today."

A parody account of Meta's Mark Zuckerberg replied to the post and wrote, "Oh no. I was afraid of new features rolling out."
