Foreign currency reserves available at Morocco’s central bank “Bank Al Maghrib” were put at 126.4 billion DH (US$ 14 billion) at the end of the first half of 2004. This figure reflects a 21.5% rise compared to the same period of 2003.
These assets are equivalent to about one year of goods imports, said the exchange office, according to MAP. (Menareport.com)
