The government has allocated around $850 million from the Gulf Cooperation Council grant to start vital transport projects, Planning Minister Ibrahim Saif said Monday.

At a workshop held at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce to review the transport sector, Saif said it contributes to 12 per cent of the total national income and provides job opportunities for 10 per cent of the Kingdom’s workforce.
