The management of National Lebanese Lottery will soon be transferred to the private hands of the local La Libanaise des Jeux (LLJ) firm, which has been granted the exclusive license to operate and develop the raffle games, reported Blominvest.

LLJ would hand the lotto games’ $27 million annual revenues over to the National Lottery Directorate, which is affiliated to the Lebanese Ministry of Finance. The directorate is a public enterprise, whose revenues experienced an eight percent year–on-year rise in 2001.

The new license holder is expected to install an online lottery system as well as expand the existing network, which currently consists of some 360 machines distributed throughout the country. — (menareport.com)
