Why is King Charles' wealth more than Queen Elizabeth II's?
According to The Sunday Times, this significant increase is attributed to the investment portfolio the king inherited from his mother, as well as his exemption from inheritance tax, which could have reached 40% on large assets.
The Duchy of Lancaster is also one of his most important sources of income, covering more than 18,000 hectares of land in areas such as Lancashire and Yorkshire, along with properties in London. Its value is estimated at $868 million, generating annual profits of around $26 million.
