Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammad Al Halaiqa chaired on Monday at the Jordan Investment Board, (JIB) a preparatory meeting for the delegation taking part in the Jordanian Investment Forum scheduled to convene in London on July 1.
The delegation comprises 25 members including ministers of industry and trade, telecommunication and IT, environment and tourism, JIB president, heads of the Jordan chambers of commerce and industry and other economic figures from the public and private sectors.
According to Petra, the trade balance between Jordan and Britain is tipped in Britain's favour. Jordan imported JD132 million worth of British products last year against JD6.4million of Jordan's exports to the British market. (menareport.com)
