ALBAWABA - Following Albania's first AI minister, a Japanese political party announced on Tuesday its first artificial intelligence (AI) leader, AFP reported.
According to the Japanese "Path to Rebirth party", the move to install an AI leader came after the resignation of its human founder due to failure in recent elections.
It is worth noting that the party, which was launched in January by Shinji Ishimaru, a former mayor of a small city in Japan, does not have a policy platform, and its members also have their own agendas.

"The new leader will be AI," Koki Okumura, a doctoral student of AI research, told the press.
Okumura described himself as an assistant to the new leader, which will soon be an AI leader.
Last week, Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, announced installing the first virtual, AI-generated minister to his new cabinet, becoming the first country in the world to get an AI minister.
Dela, which means "the sun" in Albanian, is the digital minister who will be in charge of government contracts to fight corruption.
