Israeli troops demand access to businesses’ private surveillance footage in West Bank

Israeli forces raided several businesses near Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank on Wednesday and demanded access to private surveillance footage, locals told Ma'an. 

The Israeli Shin Bet intelligence services, along with Israeli troops, raided Yatma village on Wednesday, as well as a store belonging to a man identified as Hisham Abdul-Aziz Sanawbar, locals said.
 
During the raid, Israeli authorities demanded access to Sanawbar's private security footage.
 
Israeli forces also raided several stores on the main street in Qablan village, adjacent to Yatma, and demanded access to those businesses' footage.
 
In Talfit village near Nablus, Israeli forces raided a store belonging to a man identified as Anas Naem Shahin and viewed surveillance footage of his store as well.
 
An Israeli army spokesperson did not immediately respond for comment.
