US-based security technology company ImageWare Systems, Inc. is providing the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a complete identification solution to securely create and produce more than 200,000 medical health cards for its citizens. The medical health cards are authorized by the Abu Dhabi Police Department and distributed through the UAE Government.

The UAE Government applies ImageWare's EpiBuilder ID software developer's kit (SDK) to create and customize the medical cards, complete with digital images and text. The cards are printed on 100 percent polyester, preprinted cards with holographic over-laminates using ImageWare's IDX retransfer printer.

The cards' highly secure preprint, coupled with holographic over-laminates, add an extra level of security to the medical health cards. Photo images are also presented on the cards and captured through ImageWare's CCD 4000 flash synchronized RGB video camera.

ImageWare Systems provides software solutions for digital imaging, biometrics, law enforcement and secure credentials. Through its ID product line, ImageWare applies its core technology to create secure identification systems for airports, universities, government agencies and private businesses.

ImageWare's law enforcement product line empowers its customers to quickly capture, search, retrieve and share digital photographs and criminal history records on stand alone, networked or Web-based platforms.

ImageWare is headquartered in San Diego, with offices in Greenville, Canada, Germany and Singapore. — (menareport.com)
