IIR Exhibitions and Conferences has announced that Ambiente Arabia, the international gifts and home ware show which has traditionally been part of the Motexha fashion trade fair - will go it alone this year with separate branding, a dedicated venue and its own specific marketing campaign, said a press release.
“This decision follows a review of the regional market which has unearthed new and expanding retail opportunities,” said General Manager of IIR Exhibitions & Conferences, Jessica Sutherland. “Our research shows that the Gulf's giftware sector is a multi-billion market, one of the few globally that is maintaining steady 10 percent annual growth,” she said.
Ambiente Arabia will now be held at the Dubai World Trade Center from September 23-26 this year. “Initial international response to the move has been encouraging with a particularly pleasing reception from the United Kingdom (UK), Germany, Austria, Italy, India, Turkey and the Fart East,” Sutherland added.
Post-show surveys of Motexha Autumn have revealed that 87 percent of previous Ambiente visitors have purchasing power, around 31 percent with spending budgets of $100,000 or more. — (menareport.com)
